Ganoderma lucidum (lingzhi) is listed as one of the “noble” or “upper herbs” amongst the medicinal plants. Its various medicinal actions include boost the heart qi, quiet the essence and corporeal soul, supplement theliver and boost the qi, harden the sinews and bones, improve the colour of the facial complexion (from the Classic of Herbal Medicine). The main active compounds are ganoderma polysaccharides and ganoderic acid and are widely used clinically.

H&F Lingzhi Cracked Spores and Polysaccharides Capsules are rich in ganoderma polysaccharides and ganoderic acid. By combining the cracked spores powder (99.8% breakage rate; higher polysaccharide content compared to the fruiting body) and the fruiting body extract (higher ganoderic acid content compared to the cracked spores powder; 12 times extraction), the capsules fuse the benefits of both parts of the fungi to elevate the medicinal actions that can be extracted from the fungi.
Medicinal Actions

Supplement the liver and boost the qi, quiet the essence and corporeal soul (from the Classic of Herbal Medicine)

Clinical Indications

Symptoms caused by vacuity of the liver due to staying up late at night, overmedication, alcoholism, smoking and post-radiotherapy and chemotherapy: dizziness, vertigo, easily losing physical strength, eye fatigue, blurred vision, poor appetite, anxiety and quick-tempered, etc.
Insomnia caused by insufficiency of the heart qi: clinically displayed as having poor sleep quality, difficulties in falling asleep or maintaining sleep.

Dosage and Administration

For oral administration, 2 capsules 2 times daily
