Formulation Basis

H&F Natto is formulated in reference to modern Chinese Herbology and research advances in food science with scientific proportions for the correction of blood lipid disorders and the prevention of atherosclersosis.

The formula is targeted to quicken the blood, transform stasis, reduce blood lipids and disperse accumulations. Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae, Radix Notoginseng, Red Rice and Gingko Biloba quicken the blood, transform stasis and improves blood circulation[1-4]; Red Rice and Natto decrease blood lipid levels and dissipate and disperse accumulations and stagnations[5]; Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae and Rhizoma Alismatis disinhibit water, disperse swelling, promote fluid metabolism and decrease blood viscosity[6]; Green Tea has anti-oxidative effects and removes free radicals to prevent atherosclerosis.

Clinical Indications

High blood viscosity and impaired lipid metabolism due to poor blood circulation and lipid accumulation, clinical observed with symptoms like dizziness, heavy headed feeling in the whole head, frequent numbness in the limbs, decrease in memory skill, sombre soot complexion, sombre purple tongue, varicose ranine vein, etc.

Dosage and Administration

For oral administration, 2 capsules 2 times daily, or as per physician’s orders based on the assessment of the patient’s condition
